While driving in the open sea it is very simple, however, ideally you should know the basic aspects of boating and when you are driving in small spaces or in rough sea conditions. Anchoring or driving in bays and understanding the weather conditions can be hard for people without experience. We highly suggest for beginners to explore open sea iconic locations (We may suggest the perfect locations during briefing). For more information do not hesitate to contact us.

Fuel not included – Prices are all excluding fuel, we refuel the boat at the end and you pay only for the amount consumed.

We have a selection of boats with different sizes and it depends on how many people will be on the boat. From 2 to 8 persons.

You must arrive at the check-in location at least one hour before your rental time. If you are more than an hour late without prior notice, your booking may be canceled, and your deposit may be forfeited unless full payment has been made in advance.

Yes we do for adults and children.

Not all boats require a nautical licence – All boat drivers must be over 18 years of age and present a valid identification i.e passport/id card/driving licence, and mobile phone.

No one can be under influence of alcohol and everyone on the boat needs to be sober. No alcohol and smoking is allowed on the boat.

Boats rented at Bluewaves Watersports are rented for pleasure and comfort purposes. The engine capacities of the boats must be used for cruising speeds only, NOT for racing or use of full power.

If the boat experiences technical difficulties before you go out to sea, we will refund your deposit only.

Yes, you can cancel your booking with a full refund if done at least 48 hours before the scheduled excursion. Modifications and cancellations may also occur due to weather conditions or technical issues.

Yes, a security deposit of up to €550 may be required in advance to cover any damages or breaches of terms. The deposit will be refunded after the rental period, provided there are no damages or outstanding balances.

• Drive slowly (less than 10 knots) until you are 300 meters from shore.

• Maintain at least a 100-meter distance from other crafts.

• Always check surroundings before turning.

• Do not enter caves, and use the anchor properly.

For safety reasons, you must keep a minimum distance of 100 meters from the cliffs. This is to avoid falling rocks and ensure safe navigation.

If you exceed the rental period, an additional charge of €20 per minute will apply.

Yes, the boats are for pleasure and family use only. Racing, parties, watersports towing, and dangerous maneuvers such as figure eights are strictly prohibited.

Yes, small pets such as dogs and cats may be allowed with prior agreement from Bluewaves Watersports. The client assumes full responsibility for the pet’s safety and well-being.

If you have any medical conditions, please consult your doctor before booking. Inform us of any conditions that may affect your ability to participate in the activity.

Gift certificates must be used for the specific service they were purchased for and must be redeemed in a single transaction. They cannot be exchanged for cash or used for multiple bookings. The validity period is from November 1st to October 31st of the following season.

If a gift certificate is not used before its expiry date (October 31st), it will no longer be valid, and no refund or extension will be provided.

The ride from Marfa Bay to Comino is relatively short, as we are just 3km away from the Blue Lagoon. This allows you to spend more time exploring the island rather than traveling.

Yes, the area has restaurants, shops, and parking facilities, making it a convenient departure point for visitors.

No prior experience is necessary. Before your ride, we provide a personal orientation session covering safety precautions and Jet Ski operation.

Yes, as long as the total weight does not exceed 160 kg. Younger passengers should ride at slower speeds for a safer experience.

When you rent a jet ski, you can explore Malta’s beautiful coastline between Malta and Comino. You must stay within the channel, keeping at least 300 meters away from the coast of Malta and 300 meters from the coast of Comino. This designated area allows you to enjoy a fast and thrilling ride while ensuring safety.

Yes! You can rent a jet ski online for 30 minutes. Plus, enjoy an exclusive online booking discount when you book in advance.

If a passenger feels uncomfortable, head back to shore immediately. Our team is here to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Most jet skis can handle up to 400 lbs (181 kg) combined weight — driver and passenger included.

Yes, passengers must be at least 8 years old and able to securely hold onto the driver for safety.

You must be 18 years or older to operate a jet ski.

You can rent a jet ski for 15 minutes or 30 minutes, depending on your preference.

The Speed Boat Trip lasts around 3 to 3.5 hours and includes visits to:

At the moment, we do not offer installment payments. Full payment is required at the time of booking, or in certain bookings a deposit is required.
