October is one of the most exciting months for birdwatching in Malta. As the summer heat begins to fade and cooler temperatures arrive, thousands of migratory birds pass over the Maltese Islands on their long journey from Europe to Africa. During October, bird enthusiasts can spot many different migratory species crossing the islands. Best Places for Birdwatching
