This October, Malta will once again take centre stage as it hosts the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, bringing young musical talent from across Europe to the island. The prestigious event will take place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali. This marks the third time Malta has hosted the competition, having previously welcomed Junior Eurovision in 2014 and 2016.

The stage features elements inspired by Maltese streetscapes, including colourful façades, traditional balconies, festive decorations, and vibrant lighting effects. Rather than simply recreating a village festa, designers have transformed its energy and atmosphere into a modern, world-class entertainment setting.
A Global Showcase for Maltese Culture
The contest offers Malta a unique opportunity to showcase its heritage to millions of viewers worldwide. The visual identity of the event combines the excitement of Junior Eurovision with the colours, movement, and festive spirit that define local celebrations throughout the Maltese Islands.

Sixteen Countries Set to Compete
